A first-of-its-kind in Africa, Rwanda is planning a sustainable and affordable neighbourhood for low and middle-income residents in Kigali. The new district will integrate green building and design, efficient and renewable energy, recycling and inclusive living as well as home-grown solutions and local construction materials.
